Meanwhile, Karthik and his friends are asked to go set up a medical camp in Subramaniapuram and Karthik is surprised to see that Valli is also part of the same camp. Elsewhere, Karthik (Nikhil), a medical student, falls in love with Valli (Swati) however, she keeps avoiding him every time he tries to get closer to her. And slowly, this fear turns into a legend which keeps everyone away from the temple for almost a year. Soon, we are told that anyone who either talks about the temple or even tries to know more about it is killed by a snake bite. The film begins with the death of an official from the Endowments Department, who goes to Subramaniapuram to research more about the popular Subramanya Swamy temple in the village. It does fall short from being a true blue edge-of-the-seat thriller and the climax pops up quite abruptly, but a closer look at the proceedings in the film establishes the notion that filmmaker Chandoo Mondeti is a good storyteller, who gives the mood of the story as much importance as he gives to the story and its characters. In this context, where dabbling with a bunch of clichés is the name of the game, Karthikeya comes like a breath of fresh air. Even most of the shoot took place in Athreyapuram.Synopsis: A medical student, Karthik (Nikhil) gets entangled in a conspiracy surrounding a famous temple in a village and how he unravels the secret behind the series of mysterious deaths in the village forms the crux of the story. So it is believed that Shiva also belongs to the same village Athreyapuram. Ajay Bhupathi is basically from Athreyapuram of East Godavari district. In the end cards of the film it is shown that Rx 100 movie is based on Director Ajay Bhupathi friend Shiva. Yamaha officials appreciated his efforts and gave the title but they kept a condition that the word Yamaha should be removed. So Ajay consulted Yamaha officials and explained the significance of the title for his story. But censor officials clearly said that they will register the title only after getting an approval from Yamaha company.
Firstly director Ajay Bhupathi wanted to name the movie as Yamaha Rx 100. Karthikeya shared an interesting detail about the title of the film. “With his killer six-packs and sexy locks, new-entrant Karthikeya Gummakonda slays at 19,” they wrote. The hero stood 19th in the list of Hyd Times Most Desirable Men 2018.
Karthik’s next film i.e Tamil debut will be directed by “Nuvvu Nenu Prema” Fame TN Krishna. Kartikeya Gummakonda is looking very handsome, stylish and most popular for his mind-blowing acting.
